The HD DVD Faithful may rejoice yet!

Early Monday morning news broke that bluray sales were significantly lower than expected. This is putting pressure on the movie studios to rethink the support of the Bluray as the only high definition format to produce media on.

There are well over a half million great HD DVD players still in homes across the country and while that may not be close to the market penetration that Sony has with it’s bluray player, it’s still enough to create concern with the slump in bluray sales.

So hand on to those HD DVD players, you may have use for them yet! Horray of us, the faithful.
