Prescription Drug Abuse on the Rise

With the dangers of prescription drug abuse on the rise we need to realize the impact this addiction has on our society. You see it in the news and you can hear stories about it everyday about both celebrities and everyday people overdosing on prescription drugs. What many do not realize is that adolescents are at the greatest risk with their use of these drugs constantly on the rise. This is because they have often easy access to prescription drugs from medicine cabinets and other places in the home. Until we as a society provide better education as to the dangers of prescription drugs, this problem is only going to get worse.
