My Office File Cabinet Saved Photos and Documents

Most people don’t plan on having their home destroyed by a fire. I know I didn’t, and yet I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I prepared for the possibility. I kept all of my important papers and irreplaceable photos locked up in a fireproof office file cabinet. Because of this simple precaution, those things were saved when my home did go up in flames due to an electrical problem. Losing my home was still terrible, but my insurance paid for most of the damages. At least I still have my memories, which no amount of money would be enough to replace.
