What order is a typical ‘rock’ bands instruments recorded in when recording in a professional studio?
If a typical rock band went into a studio with a professional, in what order would he record their instruments and vocals in? Assuming that going in you need to record: guitar, bass, drums, lead vocals, backup vocals.
yes, i agree

It really depends on how the band feels comfortable. Most sessions i’ve worked on, I’ve seen drums and bass recorded first. Then the rest.
