We already have one... It is better known as trammel ellipse drawing mechanism. It is one of the inversions of double slider mechanism. Two perpendicular slots permit two prismatic sliders with a connecting link to oscillate between vertical and horizontal positions though a turning crank in the back. It is well known that an extension of the connecting rod will trace an exact ellipse. However if your design is unique, you don't apply for royalties immediately you apply for a patent (separate in each country you want to sell it.)
