If you could have a country musician teach you to play an instrument?
What instrument, who would it be and why? (You can include musicians who have passed away.) I’d want Charlie Daniels to teach me to play the fiddle because I’ve always wanted to learn, and who better to teach me than a master, not to mention it would be just too awesome. I’d probablly be to awe struck to learn anything though.
I also think Chet Atkins would have been top pick but now I’ll go with Glen Campbell for guitar and Ricky Skaggs if I ever take up banjo.

Dierks Bently. He sounds like a very down to earth guy and he’s a goos guitar player.

Chet Atkins would have been my primary selection, but he is deceased. Otherwise, I’d opt for Jerry Reed or Roy Clark.

I would want Mark O’Connor to teach me the fiddle and guitar and also Willie Nelson for guitar lessons. Willie may not be the best player in the world but he’s pretty darn good and I like the way he plays. I’d like singing lessons from George Jones, too.

As a guitarist, I would really love lessons from Brad Paisley…not many guitarists can play as many genres half as well as he can.
However, for finger picking, I would’ve loved lessons from Chet Atkins or Jerry Reed!

I’m not much of a country music person, i like it but its just not what i listen to all the time.
I have liked Tim Mcgraw since i heard "Don’t Take The Girl" that song really touched me at a time in my life when i needed some comfort and after that i have followed Tim and his wife Faith through their careers. Both should be proud of their music and accomplishments.
