I want to learn how to play an instrument need help?
I’m 18 never played an instrument in my life except for the recorder in the 3rd grade. I don’t really know anything about instruments. Are some instruments easier to pick up then others or are they all the same? What are my options I really like the flute, piano and violin. Also is it too late to learn how to play an instrument don’t ppl start playing when their like nine years old?

jack black didnt pick up guitar until he was 24 and he can play fine!
i would say yes, some instruments are easier than others.
out of your three choices, piano would be the easiest, flute a little harder, and violin the hardest.
but if you really really want to play violin and your really dedicated i would say go for it!
just get lessons so you dont play it for a few years and realize your doing it wrong and have to start all over again.
hope you learn an instrument!!!

Buy a cheap keyboard, £30 for a small one in argos. Play simple songs to start with a book you can buy showing you how, practice practice pratice. When not playing by the book, try figuring things out with your ear, becomes addictive too.

It’s not too late.
Have fun, instruments (aside from the triangle) require time effort and patience. Good luck mate

It’s definitely not too late. There are so many different instruments out there that it would be almost impossible to list them all here. I recommend playing something you are interested in, so if you like the flute, go for it. There are actual DVDs you can order to show you how to play, or you can just pick up a beginners flute book at you local music store. If you really want to do it, you’ll be able to. No worries there. Also the flute is really just a slightly more complex version of a recorder. If you put in the time and effort, you can pick it up in no time. I’m not saying you’ll be symphony material next fall, but you could learn how to play it at least. Happy playing.

i play drums and guitar well…and can kinda play bass and piano.
YAHHOO!!! GIRLL! i play the flute and im only 14 i have to say im talented, no age is too old!!! i actually love it when people older than me play and i love to listen to music, itssoo peaceful, just try to learn how to play instruments and your children will ove it!!! lmfao hahahahah
wellTo me I would go buy a cheap instruments and buy a book along with the instrument, practicethe fingerings which are always locatred on the back, and when you remember some of the notes, you can practice from the book, and then keep going untill you master all the notes and move on to another book, Then you can keep playing and look up music sheets online to cool ass songs!!!!
