The song is in 5/4 …
The song is in 5/4 so there will be ten beats per chord, which makes for a relatively unusual strum pattern. In the verse play the notes in the video, and you play 1 2 & & 4 5 &. In the chorus and the bridge he uses DDUUDDU which is counted 1 2 & & 4 5 & again. Hope that makes a little bit of sense. It’s difficult to type out, so cut me a little slack.

for the f and g, i think it may be played just a bit differently. by putting another finger on the ‘A ’string on the same fret as the d string….(so 3rd fret for f, and 5th for g) then deaden the E….or use your thumb for the bass note. …. i couldn’t tell for sure, but it’s all in the way an individual chooses. but yeah, good video
