Who thinks that KRIS ALLEN is BY FAR the WORST American Idol in History?
Think about it. Ruben actually have soul. Taylor Hicks’ raspy vocals is MUCH superior to Kris.
Kris doesn’t have any talent. His vocals are weak, he plays the instrument averagely and is monotone.
AMEN!!
I stopped watching American Idol a LONG time ago, and made the mistake of tuning in this season’ cause I though things would be different this year…nope. They still choose the shi-tty contestant over the good one.

I agree. Kris is so lame and mediocre and won’t go far at all. I’m predicting that he will flop like Taylor Hicks and Justin Guarini.
Adam should have won *sigh* he’s so hot and such an amazing artist. Huge disappointment he came in second place. However, in the long run, I think he’s gonna do 100 times better than Kris. I think what usually happens is that it’s so easy to assume that he’s gonna win, then the lines get so tied up that some people can’t get through cause others are voting multiple times and ultimately it becomes rigged. I have a pretty good feeling that’s the case cause with last year, judges and lots of people assumed that David Archuleta was going to win, but David Cook got the title. I was happy that Cook won last year, he’s so hot and he had my vote.
In some cases the runner up does better in the long run:
American Idol Season 2; Clay Aiken vs. Rubben Studdard. Clay was runner up, Ruben got the title. Clay totally outdid Ruben in record sales, plus he made more television appearances. He’s been on tour, and had the most applause. Ultimately, Ruben just flopped, whereas Clay went Platinum record.
American Idol Season 5; Taylor Hicks vs. Katherine McPhee. Hicks got the title, Katherine McPhee runner up, but again, guess who did better…McPhee. She’s been heard on the radio more. Taylor Hicks was too much of a Jay Leno look-alike, and then took a nose dive and was hardly even heard of anymore.
Then there is Chris Daughtry, whose being heard on the radio very often and seems to be doing really well even though he didn’t win.
So, in conclusion, Adam Lambert will definitely go farther and do a lot better than Kris. Hands down! Adam will always be a winner in my book, he’s so hot, and has such an amazing voice.
I think Adam Lambert is truly the American Idol. He deserves the title more than Kris.

Agree. No way he should have beaten Adam and no way he should have beaten Danny.
But look who’s voting – teeny boppers – and he’s "cute". Also MARRIED which these teens fantasizing about him don’t seem to realize.
Then again, at least this season we didn’t have to listen to David "I sing like Kermit theeee frog and let you look up my nose" Archuleta like last season! GOD he annoyed me!

No, definitely not the worst American Idol in history. Just because you’re an Adam fan, doesn’t mean you can’t like any other contestant. Adam has a bright future ahead of him, no doubt.. even if that meant not winning American Idol. Kris has talent, it’s there. You could see it in his eyes that he wanted this, so badly.. and he showed America what he can do and his ability to produce good music! As a result, we love his unique style.

Kris is an average singer….Would do well in a small town. But here’s the deal….13-16 year old teeny boppers were speed-dialing for 4 hours last night, voting for him….because they think he’s cute.

It has NOTHING to do with Talent. Taylor Hicks is a name that a lot of people don’t even remember. Out of all of the winners, he’s been seen the least. I don’t think that his career did as well as some of the others. Kris does have weak vocals. I don’t know how he got as far as he did. I really thought they were going with the rocker dude Adam.(but there was all that talk about him being "gay"). He’s was the favorite pick in the betting pools.I didn’t care who won, I just watched some of the show to see the entertainment like Lionel Ritchie.

what are you talking about?? I’m a Bama girl, so i love our former Idols (don’t forget Bo even though he didnt win)…but Kris Allen is the best AI ever in my opinion!!! Nope, Taylor Hicks failed miserably.
It depends on how many albums he sells. You can’t say he’s a failure until his albums come out. Until then, let’s just say we don’t know, because that’s the truth.
And no, Kris did have good moments, especially turning Kanye West’s robotic "Heartless" into a much more emotional song–it takes talent and creativity to do that.
I agree: Although I was a Kris fan, I do believe Adam should have won. But America obviously didn’t agree: If America wanted Adam to win so badly, they would have voted for him.
