Wind players! What’s your favorite wind instrument and why?
My favorite (sounding) instrument is an alto flute. I’d love to hear one in real life–all I’ve ever heard is a recording. I play several wind instruments, flute is my primary, current is euphonium. I really don’t know which I prefer to play; it’s fun to play different parts (that is, bass, melody, harmony…).
What about you?
Alto saxophone and flute. I’ve been playing the Alto for 5 years now, and I LOVE it! It’s sooo versatile and fun in general. And the flute is beautiful. I also think the contra-bassoon is hilarious!

I also love the flute..it has such a beautiful and romantic tone. Another favorite..the contra-bassoon. haha, it is the funniest instrument ever…it sounds like its just grunting:P

my favorite wind is the flute. i love the flute i’ve played it since 6th grade. my second favorite would be piccolo. i don’t care if it’s screechy and high. if you say it’s screechy and high to my face i will kill you my friend said that and she died.

I love the sound of a clarinet, but the oboe can sound beautiful if it’s played well… I play sax too, and i love the sound of tenor and soprano sax, although i can’t play sop… hehe ^__^
Oh! nd i played bass clarinet in concert band for a while. I hated playing it, but i love how it sounds
