What all do you need as far as equipment, before you start gigging?
I obviously know you need all the instruments, but are there anything you need as far as live sound goes?
Well it depends where you are playing, some places will provide mics and stuff.
But you need pedals, amps, mics, lots of spare cords.

you may also consider a mixer board along with those other things that Mike suggested. sound boards are important for good quality sound..
