There are a lot of things about Amazon’s Kindle that are helpful and make it a great tool to have. But the thing that I like best about it is that you can upload your pdf files to it. Why is this such an important feature to me? Because, now you are no longer ‘chained’ to a computer to read pdf files. For example, suppose you were to get an important pdf file at 5:38 pm, just before you were about to leave work for home. With the Kindle ebooks reader, you can simply upload the pdf file, and read it on the way home (if you take public transit, of course). My point is that it offers you a lot more flexability and freedom of movement that you wouldn’t have if you were restricted to a computer.
