Milk Machine…..funny ?
Lewis’s cousin, the farmer, ordered a high-tech milking
machine. Since the equipment arrived when his wife was
out of town, he decided to test it on himself first. So, he
inserted his pen*s into the equipment, turned the switch
on and everything else was automatic. Soon, he realized
that the equipment provided him with as much pleasure as
his wife did. When the fun was over, though, he quickly realized
that he couldn’t remove the instrument from his pen*s.
He read the manual but didn’t find any useful information.
He tried every button on the instrument, but still without
success.
Finally, the farmer decided to call the supplier’s
Customer Service Hot Line. "Hello, I just bought
a milking machine from your company. It works fantastic,
but how do I remove it from the cow’s udder?"
"Don’t worry, " replied the customer
service rep, "The machine will release automatically
once it’s collected two gallons."
lol, 10/10, star, brilliant.

Paragraph too complicated :s?
My sister is doing her business coursework and basically the teacher has given her the outline of the work and all she has to do is put it into her own words and make it easier to understand but she’s stuck on this paragraph and has asked me to help..
And who better to ask than the wonderful people on Y!A
So here’s the paragraph.. Its about the Health and Safety at Work Act.. Hopefully you can understand it better than me :s
The Act defines general duties on employers, employees, contractors, suppliers of goods and substances for use at work, persons in control of work premises, and those who manage and maintain them, and persons in general. The Act enables a broad regime of regulation by government ministers through Statutory Instrument which has, in the years since 1974, generated an extensive system of specific provisions for various industries, disciplines and risks. It established a system of public supervision through the creation of the Health and Safety Commission and Health and Safety Executive, since merged, and bestows extensive enforcement powers, ultimately backed by criminal sanctions extending to unlimited fines and imprisonment for up to two years. Further, the Act provides a critical interface with the law of the European Union on workplace health and safety.
Your help is much appreciated ![]()

Who would be a farmer?
A farmer ordered a high-tech milking machine. Since the equipment arrived when his wife was out of town, he decided to test it on himself first. So, he inserted his ‘manhood’ into the equipment, turned on the switch and everything else was automatic.
Soon, he realised that the equipment provided him with much more pleasure than his wife did. When the fun was over, though, he quickly realised that he couldn’t remove the instrument from his ‘member’.
He read the manual but didn’t find any useful information on how to disengage himself. He tried every button on the instrument, but still without success.
Finally, he decided to call the supplier’s Customer Service Hot Line with his mobile phone (Thank god for mobile phones!).
‘Hello, I just bought a milking machine from your company. It works
fantastic, but how do I remove it from the cow’s udder?’
‘Don’t worry,’ replied the customer service rep, ‘The machine will release automatically once it’s collected two gallons

saving on electricity bill?
I regularly get emails and sms from suppliers of power saver equipments. They calim it is a computer mouse sized instrument and once installed it would cut down the electricity cost upt to 35%. They charge about Rs. 1500 for the installation. Does anybody know about this equipment and has anyone used this product
There are ways to cut your electricity bill, but mostly by turning things off. Like making sure the lights are off when you leave a room, etc. There are other ways to save small amounts on your electric bill. But for the most part the cost of buying the equipment to do the savings exceed the savings for several years. A 35% reduction is your electric bill would be very difficult unless you were extremely wasteful in you electric use before hand. The most common thing I have seen is a power factor corrector. Any electric motor is inductive. If you can add enough capacitance to balance out the inductance you will lower your electric bill by some amount. For a home, a refridgerator, freezer, or air conditioner unit are the most common items with motors. A transformer is also inductive, so most electronic devices are also inductive. The right value of capacitance would also slightly reduce your electric bill by correcting the power factor. The problem is that the investment in these devices would take years to pay off from the slight savings in the electric bill.
Power factor makes sense in a large factory with motors that run into the hundreds of horsepower and power supplies that consume thousands of kilowatts. But for the small motors and power supplies found in the average home the return on investment just isn’t there.
