I Love My Wine Club

There are several reasons why I have a wine club membership. The first and important reason for me is because I love the fact that wine is being chosen for me by people who really know what good wine is. There is no blind guessing involved. I know that each and every month I will have wine that the experts believe is excellent. This is a major benefit of wine clubs in my opinion. The next reason why I love my wine club membership is because it gives me the opportunity to try wines from vineyards I probably never would have found by myself. Wine clubs generally have relationships with vineyards that gets them (and their members) access to some pretty rare and exclusive wines… California Wine Club

New game I’m excited about

The first rule of beer pong is that you can’t cover or smack the ball away from the cups on the beer pong tables with your hands. If you’re using a paddle, however, go ahead and defend your brew like it was your family. Do your best to prevent that ping-pong ball from taking one of your beers away.

As a side note, if you choose to blow it out of a cup, it’s not only a violation, it’s a sissy’s move. If that or any other violation occurs, the opposing player gets a free shot or do-over. Those throwing the ball have three types of pitches, arc shot, fastball, and bounce shot. Depending on your throwing hand, try each one before playing and see if they work. Otherwise, you’ve always got the paddle as well.

Should flax seed be heated?

When people are new to consuming flax seed products, they often ask whether flax seed should be heated or not. It is accepted that flax seed meal has a short shelf life because its oils are prone to oxidation which means their oils go rancid and you no longer get benefit from their consumption. Is the oxidation process a problem if you apply heat? Does the oil go rancid more quickly and the oils then become a chemical that offers no positive effect on our bodies? From all I have read, there is mixed evidence but I would say on balance it seems the essential fatty acids from flax seed stay biologically active to us if they have been heated to temperatures that would bake muffins and bread for example. If you have more questions about flax seed you need answering before you buy flax seed check out this resource.

How to Cure a Lowsy Mood – For Good

Ever have one of those days where you are just down in the dumps for no reason? What you may not know is that your mood might be influenced by the foods you eat. A study was done where a person ate nothing but fast food burgers for 30 days straight and it found that this person’s moods would swing left and right.

Not only that, would you like to know when he felt better? That is right, when he ate another greasy burger. Think about this, in whose best interest is it for us to stay off of our Bowflex Treadclimber and not exercise? These fast food chains make their money off selling us addictive foods. Want a better mood? Grab an apple instead of a double cheeseburger.
