Natural Health And Beauty Starts With A Good Diet

Staying beautiful is something that women of all ages think about every single day. Beauty should be something that we see when we look within, but everyone wants to look good on the outside as well. There are many products on the market that can help anyone look better, but some people do not want to put what they think of as dangerous chemicals on their skin each and every day. If you feel this way, there are things you can do to achieve natural beauty care. Not only are you going to look better, but you are also going to feel better about using these products safely.

One of the ways I think is most important (but overlooked) in good beauty care is getting adequate nutrition. A plant-based diet of fruits and vegetables provides many of the nutrients you need for good health inside and out.

Almost all of my favorite dishes for the colder months are the traditional ones, for instance Shepherds Pie. This is a dish now often made with minced meat, but traditionally made with leftover roast lamb which has been put through the mincer or your blender on “chop”. Also using leftover gravy, carrots and mashed potatoes (winter vegetables). The Shepherds Pie Recipe website has the old way with tips on modernising it! Also a good source of other dishes from various countries, based on the personal experiences of a world traveler and his wife, the latter of Italian ancestry so, of course another mine of recipes!

Do you need a camping water filter for your next outdoor adventure?

When you’re in the great outdoors, sometimes you can feel that there’s “water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink.” It can be frustrating to walk by clear glacier-fed mountain streams only to know that they may be infected with pesticides and gyardia. Stuff you definitely don’t want to be drinking.

Now there’s a safe, effective way to enjoy drinking water from streams, lakes or ponds while you’re out camping. Using a camping water filter – whether it be a UV SteriPen that sterilizes your water with ultra-violet light, or an extremely popular Katadyn Hiker water filter, you can be sure that you’re getting safe, purified water that will keep you going strong on your trip!

What’s an instrument that looks like a pencil sharpener?

I’ve seen this instrument before and it looks like a sharpener. When you turn the handle, it makes a sound like a gear wheel. Can anyone tell me what it’s called?
Hum…
I looked at the pictures but they don’t look right and are probably not the one I’m talking about. The instrument is pretty small, like a size of an old-fashioned school pencil sharpener.

People who played these instruments were called organ grinders.

Yahoo search: "organ grinder" instrument

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organ_grinder Aha! The instrument was called a street organ. Look at both pictures on the page; one is a large fancy instrument, and the other is what I envision when I think of the term "organ grinder."
